DAYTON – The University of Dayton baseball team hosts a key Atlantic 10 matchup this weekend, welcoming Davidson to the Gem City for a three-game set beginning Friday, March 28 at Woerner Field at AES Ohio Stadium.

DYNAMIC DUO KEEPS CLICKING
- Sophomore Michael DiMartini and freshman Rylan Lujo kept their hot streak going during the Flyers' midweek showdown with the Air Force Academy, each getting a pair of hits against the Falcons.
- DiMartini went 2-for-3 with his team-leading eighth home run of the season, while also singling and stealing a base.
- Lujo had a 2-for-4 performance with his team-best 11th double of the campaign and also drove in a run with a single.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
- Freshman sensation Rylan Lujo earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season, the league office announced on Monday.
- The Coconut Creek, Fla. native went 6-for-11 at the plate in three games against Saint Louis including one home run, and was even better in non-conference action. 
- Lujo went 5-for-6 with two home runs and a double in Dayton's non-conference win over Ohio, then added a 3-for-5 showing against Bowling Green with another home run and double.
- Lujo is the only Flyer to start all 26 games this season.

DAY AIR GAME TICKETS ON SALE NOW
- The Dayton baseball team and the Dayton Dragons have announced that tickets for the Flyers' 2025 Day Air Ballpark game against Wright State on April 29 are now on sale.
- Tickets are $10.00 for all spectators. Students from both the University of Dayton and Wright State will be admitted free of charge.
 
SCOUTING DAVIDSON
- Davidson is 10-13 on the season and currently leads the Atlantic 10 with a 5-1 league record. The Wildcats swept preseason favorites VCU at home last weekend.
- Eli Putnam has been Davidson's best hitter on the campaign, turning in a .383 average with nine homers, 27 runs scored and 26 RBI.
- The Wildcats have a team ERA of 8.27 and strikeout per nine inning mark of 8.41. Davidson's projected rotation will include Wilson Perkins (3-3, 5.60 ERA) and Isaac Fix (2-2, 7.92 ERA).
 
NEXT UP
- Dayton wraps its longest homestand of the season with a home date against Akron on April 1. The Flyers' eighth-straight home game will begin at 3 p.m.
