Day One Results

OXFORD, Ohio - The University of Dayton track and field program is in fourth after day one of the All-Ohio Championships on the campus of Miami University.

Elissa Mason won the 10,000 meter run with a time of 36:46.28. Sarah Reynolds and Colleen Grassley also ran in the 10,000 meter run, placing sixth and seventh respectively with times of 38:35.29 and 38:36.01.

In the hammer throw, Aly Weeman set a new personal record and improved to third all-time in UD track history with a sixth-place toss of 179-11.

The Flyers pick up action Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Results will be available on DaytonFlyers.com following the conclusion of the meet.

5,000 Meter Run
The Flyers were led by Lindsey Cummings placing ninth with a time of 17:49.10. Mary List was the next Flyer placing 22nd with a time of 18:59.54.

10,000 Meter Run
Elissa Mason won the race with a time of 36:46.28. Sarah Reynolds and Colleen Grassley placed sixth and seventh respectively with times of 38:35.29 and 38:36.01.

Hammer Throw
Aly Weeman was the top Flyer with a toss of 179-11 (54.85m) placing sixth. Weeman’s mark was a personal record.

Javelin Throw
Renee Otte and Julie Kolodziej placed eighth and 10th with tosses of 116-06 (35.53m) and 105-01 (32.04m).
