DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's tennis team had its three match win streak snapped on Friday with a 7-0 home loss to the Duquesne Dukes.
Duquesne won all nine courts as the Flyers dropped to 7-7 this spring and 1-1 in Atlantic 10 play.
Sophomore Laina Grote was the lone Flyer to take her singles match into three set. However, she fell at No. 2 in a 3-6, 6-2, 10-6 decision.
The Flyers will next host Xavier on Sunday at 10 a.m. EST.
