2012: Boone saw actions in four games this season. She had a goal against average of 1.90... Finished her Flyer career with 68 wins.

2011: The junior goalkeeper played in 14 games, starting 11 of them this season for the Flyers. She had a goals against average of .91 to go along with an 8-3-0 record and three shutouts.

2010: Played in seven games with six starts...totaled 586 minutes in net and allowed only four goals during that time...finished the year with 24 saves and a save percentage of 85.7%...posted a 4-2 record with two shutouts coming at Penn (9/12/10) and at Temple (10/15/2010)...was named to the Atlantic 10 Preseason Team and named one of six Atlantic 10 players as “Sophomore Stars for 2010” by TopDrawerSoccer.com.

2009: Was named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year, stepping in immediately for the Flyers and starting 21 of 22 games played….played a total of 1,995 minutes during the season, and only allowed nine goals, for a goals against average of 0.41, breaking an A-10 record previously held by former U.S. National Team member Briana Scurry… recorded 71 saves and had a total of 13 shutouts… ended the year with a 14-1-6 record with the one loss coming against No. 17 Virginia Tech (Nov. 15) in the second round of the NCAA tournament… recorded a career-high 10 saves to help Dayton advance past Marquette in the first round of the NCAA Tournament...was a highly decorated player being named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week twice … named to the A-10 First Team and the All-Rookie Team… honored as one of Sports Illustrated’s Faces in the Crowd, TopDrawerSoccer Women's College 2009 All-Rookie All-America Team Honorable Mention, and also a Soccer News Net 2009 Women's College Player of the Year Candidate… named to the Mid-Atlantic All-Region First Team and the Soccer America MVP Team… as a true freshman was also one of five University of Dayton women’s soccer student-athletes named to the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association’s All-Ohio First Team.

Coach Tucker's Take on Katherine: Katherine has the physical and psychological dimensions, athleticism and technical abilities to perform at this level. She has a great demeanor and a tremendous drive for excellence that will enable her to continue to develop.

Prior to UD: Boone was a two-time First Team All-King County Conference selection at goalkeeper...Twice selected as team captain of her squad at Juanita High School...Was also named Second Team All-King County Conference as a junior...A two-time recipient of the Coaches Award at Juanita...Was a member of the Super Y League ODP camp in Tampa, Fla. in 2007...Played keeper for her Crossfire Premier Club that won the 2007 WSYSA State Cup Championship...She is a member of the Japanese National Honor Society and was a Quest Leadership Challenge Finalist.

Personal: Daughter of Richard and Louise Boone...her father won the 1976 Del Monte Gold Cup Steeplechase...Born on Sept. 15, 1990...Major: Applied Mathematical Economics.
