Biography:

2011-2012
Lizzie continued to be one of the better and more versatile distance runners on the squad. During the indoor season she placed first in the mile (5:05.53) at the Doug Raymond Invite. She bettered that time at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships setting a new season best in the mile with a time of 4:59.90. Outdoor though proved to be her season, especially in the 3,000m Steeplechase. She placed first in this event at the South Carolina Weems Baskins Invitational with a time of 11:17.03. She set a personal best time of 10:39.85 at the Atlantic 10 Championships placing fourth and followed that race up with a second place finish at the Louisville Cardinal Twilight (10:59.12).

2010-2011
Gleason put together a successful freshman indoor season for the Flyers capitalized by her excellent performances at the Atlantic 10 Championships. She was a member of the 4x800m relay team that placed fourth at the championships. She would also have individual success in the Mile run where she placed fourth with a personal best time of 4:58.58. Gleason transitioned smoothly into her first outdoor season as she was a vital part to Dayton’s success. She was a member of the 4x800m relay team that placed third at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships.

High School
Gleason ran a personal record time of 2:16.5 in the 800 Meter Run to qualify for the state meet in 2009, where she placed 15th overall. She also ran 5:00.42 in the state meet where she placed second.
