Biography:

2012-2013:
Sophomore Andrea Hoover started in all 31 games for the Flyers this season... Hoover averaged 12.9 ppg and 5.5 rpg... She also shot .440 from the floor and .403 from beyond the arc... Hoover led the Flyers in 11 categories this season, including points (401), points per game (12.9), field goals made (135), 3pt field goals made (54), free throws made (77) and offensive rebounds (68)... Scored 20 or more points four times this season, including a career-high 24 points in the Flyer’s double overtime win over St. John’s in the first round of the NCAA Tournament... Grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds in the win over Michigan State... Made a career-high 9 free throws in the win over Toledo... Recorded four double-doubles on the season... Was named to the Arizona State Classic All-Tournament Team as well as the Maggie Dixon Classic All-Tournament Team... Was also named First Team All-Atlantic 10 and the A-10 All-Academic Team. 

2011-2012:
Freshman Andrea Hoover played in all 30 games for the Flyers, starting 25 of them...Hoover was second on the team in scoring, averaging 10.0 ppg...Hit season highs against La Salle with 22 points and nine rebounds...Also scored 22 points in a victory against George Washington...Averaged 5.1 rebounds per game, also second best on the team...In a victory against Wright State, Hoover poured in 4 three-pointers...Racked up 154 rebounds and 69 assists throughout the season...Scored 16 points and grabbed five rebounds against Arkansas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament...Was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year, Atlantic 10 All-Third Team, Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team and the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week four times throughout the season.

High School:
At Spring Valley Academy, Hoover was an offensive juggernaut as a four-year starter and five-year varsity letter winner...She was a four-time Spring Valley Most Outstanding Player…She averaged 26 ppg, 14 rpg, and 6 apg and led Spring Valley to a 31-1 record in her senior year...She can handle the point guard and the shooting guard position...In her junior season she averaged 24 ppg, 10 rpg, and 8 apg and led her team to an 18-2 record... Hoover was named to ESPN Hoopgurlz Class of 2011 Super 60 Players…She averaged 21.5 points in the National Association of Christian Athletes Division II National Championship in 2008 earning her Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the tournament…She also led Spring Valley to the Southwestern Adventist University Hoops Classic Championship in 2009 and again in 2011, earning all-tourney honors both years…Hoover was also an all-tournament selection at the 2010 AAU 16U National Championships.

Personal:
Daughter of Robert and Terri Hoover. Has two older brothers: Justin and Ryan. Majoring in sports management and hopes to be a college basketball coach one day.
