FLYER WOMEN LOOK TO ENTER BREAK WITH WIN OVER LOYOLA-CHICAGO ON WEDNESDAY

Dayton wraps up a two-game homestand on Wednesday as it hosts Loyola-Chicago in the opener of another women's-men's doubleheader at UD Arena. The women's game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. ET tipoff followed by a 9 p.m. ET matchup between the Flyer men and Creighton. All fans with tickets to the men's game receive FREE admission to the women's game. The women's game can be followed with FREE live video and audio as well as Gametracker at www.DaytonFlyers.com.

The Flyer women enter Wednesday's doubleheader looking to snap out of a two-game losing streak that has seen the team fall to 4-5 overall. In fact, three of UD's last four losses have come by a total of 10 points. The Flyers lost at Cincinnati by five points, at UT-Martin by one point in overtime and to Long Island by four points. Dayton is 1-3 in games decided by five points or less this season.

UD has been one of the best in the Atlantic 10 Conference from three-point range this season. The Flyers rank third in the A-10 with 47 treys in nine games behind the sharp shooting duo of Jennifer Strong and Kathy Guin. Strong is third in the A-10 in threes per game (2.22 3fgm per game) and 13th in three-point shooting percentage (.370). Guin is 15th in the conference in shooting from beyond the arc (.323).

The Flyer point guards are also among the best in the A-10 at controlling the basketball as Guin and Karah Cloxton both rank among the conference leaders in assist-to-turnover ratio. Guin is seventh in the Atlantic 10 at with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.33 which includes 28 assists. Cloxton has a ratio of 1.08 with 28 assists of her own. The duo is tied for 12th in the A-10 in assists per game (3.11).

Following Wednesday's game, Dayton will take 12 days off to focus on final exams before traveling to face Clemson on December 19 at 5 p.m. ET.
