Visiting Athletic Trainers On behalf of the University of Dayton the Sports Medicine Department would like to welcome you to our campus for your upcoming athletic event. There are two training facilities at the University of Dayton. The primary facility is located in the Frericks Center and will be open at least one hour prior to every competition to facilitate the needs of Men's and Women's soccer, and Volleyball. Our Secondary facility is utilized for Football, Men's and Women's basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Women's Track. This room will also be available at least one hour prior to any event. The following athletic training resources will be available on you bench/sideline:
1. Ice, ice bags, and wrap. Visiting basketball teams will have the following items available in their locker room:

1. Water and cups Certified Athletic Trainer, Team Physician, and Emergency Medical Personnel will be on-site for all basketball and football events. All other events will have a Certified Athletic Trainer present, Team Physician and EMS will be on-call. Miami Valley Hospital is located within a mile and a half of all athletic venues and houses the regions only level 1 trauma center. If you have any questions or special concerns, please feel free to contact one of our staff trainers. We will make every attempt to make your experience at the University of Dayton a healthy one.
