The University of Dayton, Division of Athletics, is dedicated to educating the total person by integrating the primary academic purposes with educational possibilities and opportunities beyond the classroom. The combination of academics and fields of play and arenas of competition has allowed the University to produce distinctive graduates and citizens. Though our tradition of success reflects many generations of extraordinary student-athletes, the competitive landscape of intercollegiate athletics continues to require the Division of Athletics to raise substantial funds to maintain a high level of achievement. Private donations are critical for the continued success of our 17 varsity sports and the academic and athletic achievement of more than 435 student-athletes. The University of Dayton Athletic Development office is dedicated to building private support for UD student-athletes to sustain and enhance Dayton's tradition of academic success and athletic achievement.
