The University of Dayton women's cross country team released its 2005 schedule today.

The team starts the season at 8:00 am on August 27 with the Red/Blue 5k, an intrasquad meet. The Flyers begin intercollegiate competition on Sept. 3 with the Flyer 5k Challenge in Kettering, OH.

From there the team travels to the National Catholic Invite in South Bend, IN, on September 16 and the Greater Louisville Classic on Sept. 24.

Oct. 7, the Flyers travel to Delaware, OH, for the All-Ohio Championships. Following that the team will participate in the NCAA Pre-Nationals on Oct. 15, the Atlantic 10 Championships in Philadelphia on Oct. 29, and the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Bloomington, IN on Nov. 12.

The season finishes in Terre Haute, IN, with the NCAA Championship on Nov. 21.
