Maureen Bulgrin had, perhaps, the best season in the history of Flyer women's cross country during the fall of 2008. Part of a standout sophomore class, the second-year runner was named Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week three times (Sept. 8, Sept. 22, and Oct. 13), and led the team in seven of eight races - finishing second only in the season opening Meijer Flyer 5K, where she placed tenth overall. Bulgrin also netted five top ten finishes throughout the course of the season and logged the 11th best time in program history (17:56) at the Greater Louisville Classic on Oct. 4. She took tenth overall at the Atlantic 10 Championships to earn All-Conference honors for the first time. For her efforts, Bulgrin was given the White-Allen Most Valuable Runner award by the Flyer coaches.

2007
Maureen Bulgrin made a huge impact for UD as a freshman. She finished first on the team in each of the first three races. Her spectacular season was highlighted by a finish of 18:15 at the Greater Louisville Invitational, placing her sixth on the all-time Flyer 5K Personal Bests list. Bulgrin placed in the top 20 overall at the Flyer 5K and the National Catholic Invite.
