WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY CROWNED ATLANTIC 10 CHAMPIONS

The University of Dayton women's cross country team captured its first-ever Atlantic 10 cross country title on Saturday. Junior Maureen Bulgrin placed third overall, while head coach Ann Alyanak was tabbed the A-10's Coach of the Year. Complete results from the meet will be available shortly. MORE

DAYTON CROSS COUNTRY SEEKS FIRST-EVER CONFERENCE TITLES IN ST. LOUIS

The University of Dayton men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the 2009 Atlantic 10 Championships, to be held Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Forest Park course on the campus of Saint Louis University. The 32nd annual Men's Cross Country Championship will begin at 10:00 a.m. central time on the 8,000-meter course. The 21st annual Women's Cross Country Championship will get started at 10:45 a.m. MORE

FLYER CROSS COUNTRY HAS GOOD SHOWING AT NCAA PRE-NATIONALS

University of Dayton cross country traveled across state lines to race at the NCAA Pre-Nationals Meet in Terra Haute, Indiana. The men's team placed 19th out of 35 teams in the men's white division. The Flyer women placed 28th out of 37 teams in the women's blue division. Each race included many nationally recognized teams as well as many tough individuals. The top 70 teams in the nation for men and women were invited to the meet and split into two completely equal divisions. MORE

FLYER CROSS COUNTRY GETS READY TO RUN AT THE NCAA PRE-NATIONALS

The University of Dayton men's and women's cross country teams are gearing up to compete in the NCAA Pre-Nationals on Saturday Oct. 17 in Terra Haute, Ind. The men will compete in the white division race, which will begin at 11:40 a.m. ET. The women will compete in the blue division race, beginning at 12:20 a.m. ET. MORE

FLYER CROSS COUNTRY HAS GOOD SHOWING AT THE NOTRE DAME INVITATIONAL

The Dayton Flyer cross country teams traveled to South Bend, Indiana for the Notre Dame Invitational on Friday Oct. 2. The men's team placed 12th in the blue division out of 23 teams scoring 326 points. The women's team placed second out of 20 teams scoring 104 points. MORE
