Were you surprised to find out that Dayton would be sent to South Bend?
We talked about that being one of the possibilities before the bracket was released. We are excited about the opportunity to play in South Bend.
How do you feel about playing Notre Dame in the First Round? How do the Flyers stack up to the Irish?
Notre Dame has great history and tradition both athletically and academically. We look forward to playing them.
They are a traditionally a big blocking team with a load of talent. They play in a strong conference, but we have gotten better this year. I think that we have players that are ready to compete.
How do you feel Dayton is playing entering the tournament?
We have been on a roll and I have a lot of confidence in our kids that we are going to rebound from yesterday. We got that out of the way. We are excited about this week of practice and I know that our kids will compete come Thursday.
What does it feel like to take Dayton to the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year?
It gets tougher every year that you get here, but also it gets more exciting. We are probably less complacent each year because we came here to win NCAA matches and advance to the Sweet Sixteen, which is our goal as a program.
