Despite 10 kills from sophomore Nicole Bateman and 13 digs by junior Adrienne Green, the Dayton Flyers fell to the Loyola Marymount Lions 3-0 to conclude the 2006 regular season.

Dayton lost 30-25, 30-27 and 30-22 despite senior Faye Barhorst finishing the game with six kills. Sophomore Erin Schroeder added nine digs of her own.

As a team, the Flyers improved their hitting percentage in each game. Game one featured a .077 hitting percentage, while game two had the Flyers hitting at a .195 clip. The third game was the best with Dayton at .289.

Other contributors for Dayton included junior Jamie-Lee Richards with eight kills and four digs. The Lions out-dug Dayton by 20, 63-43.

The Flyers finish the 2006 regular season at 22-11 overall.
