Kremer recorded three new personal-bests Saturday at BSU

DAYTON, Ohio - University of Dayton sophomore Amy Kremer has been named the Atlantic 10 Track & Field Co-Performer of the Week after breaking Dayton's pentathlon record and recording three new personal-bests at the Ball State Pentathlon meet on Saturday.

The Minster, Ohio native finished fourth overall at the meet with a school-record total of 3,408 points. She tied her own school record in the high jump with a mark of 5-8 and had a personal-best attempt of 36-4.75 in the shot put. In addition, she had a mark of 16-3.75 in the long jump and recorded a time of 2:35.29 in the 800m run.

Kremer shares the A-10 Performer of the Week honor with Fordham's Kerstin Greene who won the triple jump and high jump at the Fordham Christmas Classic over the weekend.

Kremer, along with the rest of her teammates will head to Muncie, Indiana on January 12 for the Ball State Open.
