Indianapolis, IN - Flyers are preparing to compete at the Stan Lyons Invitational in Indianapolis on April 29. After this meet, the A-10 Outdoor Championships, NCAA Midwest Regional, and the NCAA Outdoor Championships will begin.

Last week at the Cardinal Invitational in Louisville, KY, the flyers achieved eight new personal records and eight season bests.

Kelly Pohlman (Senior) earned a regional qualifying distance in the shot put, throwing a distance of 47'9.25". This was good enough for second place at the Cardinal Invitational.

Among the personal best marks included Kelly Pohlman in the shot put and hammer throw, Connie Fleming in the hammer and discus throws, Stacia Harold in the 100 meter dash, Liz Forster in the 400 meter run, and Emily Haas as well as Bridget Kuhel in the 1500 meter run.

Lindsey Brown, Stacy Chew, India Moss, Jessica Schulte, Sydney Hubbard, and Anne Oltman all reached new season bests in each of their respective events. Amy Kremer also received two season bests in the javelin and the 400 meter hurdles.

The next meet for the Flyers will be that Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships in Charlotte, NC, May 6-7.
