Louisville, KY - The University of Dayton's women track is prepared to continue its outdoor track season at the Cardinal Invitational in Louisville, KY on April 22.

The Flyers competed at the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships on April 7 and 8 in Columbus, OH. Three Flyers worked their way to the top of the A-10 ranks in their respective events.

On the first day of the event, freshman Amy Kremer competed in the heptathlon and won third place in 100m hurdles and high jump, second in the shot put, and fifth in the 200m dash. Kremer placed fourth overall in the heptathlon, which led her to take first place in the A-10's in that category.

Andrea Cornell also jumped to the lead in the A-10 conference with her performance 100m hurdles, in which she came in seventh place and earned a career best.

Finally, Kelly Pohlman still holds a first place spot in the A-10's for her previous performance in the shot put.

Several other team members exceeded personal or career bests at the event.

After the Cardinal Invitational, the Flyers will face the Stan Lyons Invitational on April 29 in Indianapolis, IN.
