Columbus, OH - The Flyers will be competing in the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships on April 7-8 at the Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

"I am looking forward to see how we compare to the rest of Ohio," states head coach Kandice Erwin. This will be her second All-Ohio Outdoor Championship with the Flyers.

In 2005, the Flyers placed tenth out of 14 teams at the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships. Returning Flyers, Megan Sweeney in high jump, Connie Fleming in the hammer throw, and Kelly Pohlman in the shot put, all beat their personal records in their corresponding events.

Last meet, the UNLV Invitational on April first, showed promising results for this years All-Ohio meet. Eight Flyers set personal bests, and eight other season best marks were made. The team as a whole finished fifth out of ten teams. Senior Stacia Harold recorded personal bests in three separate events.

After the All-Ohio Championships this weekend the Flyers can look forward to the Cardinal Invitational in Louisville, KY, on Saturday April 22.
