Kingston, R.I. - Kelly Pohlman was named Most Outstanding Field Performer in the Atlantic 10 Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday in Kingston, R.I.

The Flyers placed seventh overall with 46 points, two points shy of last years Atlantic 10 Championship meet.

Kelly Pohlman won both the shot put and the weight throw with distances of 47'5.25" and 55'00.75". Her shot put distance was a season-best and four feet ahead of the second place finisher. It marked the third straight year Pohlman has won the shot put and the sixth time in seven years a Flyer has taken home first in that event. Connie Felming also participated in both of these field events with a distance in shot put of 33'11.50" and in weight throw 38'02.0".

Amy Kremer won the high jump with a height of 5'5".

In the 55 meter dash, Stacia Harold finished sixth with a time of 7.27. Her prelim time of 7.26 was her career best. Harold also posted a career best in the 200 meter dash, placing eleventh with a time of 26.39.

In the 55 meter hurdles, Andrea Cornell had a time of 8.49. She posted a season best in the prelims and finished in fourth place.

Micella Davis and Lindsey Brown also ran the 200 meter dash placing fourteenth and eighteenth with their season-best times.

Stacey Chew ran the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:00.53.

Placing seventh in the 500 meter run was Liz Forster (1:18.69), a time just .09 off the UD Indoor record.

Emily Haas as well as Anne Oltman ran the 3000 meter run with times of 10:43.69 and 10:52.16 respectively, with Haas recording her personal best. Amanda Tucker's 19:21.74 in the 5000 metere was her season best.

The Flyers 4X400 meter relay team consisting of Stacey Chew, Lisa Aubry, Tara Hentgen, and Elizabeth Forster finished seventh with a comebined time of 4:12.89.

The distance medley relay team placed sixth with a time of 12:49.03. The relay team consisted of Ellen Neinhaus, India Moss, Bridget Kuhel, and Sydney Hubbard.
