(CROSS COUNTRY) Ran in two races during the season...At the Flyer 5K she came in second for UD clocking in at 19:36...Scored for the Flyers in fourth place at the National Catholic Invite here she ran the course in 19:33 for 30th place overall.
2005-2006
(CROSS COUNTRY) After joining the team as a junior, Striebel finished fifth in the Flyer 5K, second on the team, with a 19:11 time... Led UD, placing 32nd overall, at the All-Ohio Championships with a 19:23...Also led UD at the National Catholic Invitational as her time of 18:44 was the best time by a Flyer in 2005... Placed 17th at the NCI, helping the Flyers finish fifth as a team... Named Team MVP...Her four race average in the 5K was 19:22... Skipped the Greater Louisville Classic in favor of the Dayton River Corridor Half Marathon, a 13.1 mile event run annually in Dayton, which she won in 1:24:54, winning the title that UD's coach, Ann Alyanak, won last year.
(INDOOR) Striebel posted two of the highest finishes of the season for a Flyer in the 5000-meter run... At the Bowling Green Invite she recorded her season-best time of 18:45.33 good for fifth place and she finished 21st at the Atlantic 10 Championships in February (19:13.53)...In her only relay event of the year, she was a member of the 4x800 team that placed first at the Cedarville Invite (10:07.57)...In the 3000m, she posted her season-best time of 10:47.78 at the Rod McCravy Memorial meet...She competed only once in the one-mile run finishing 20th in a time of 5:36.57 at Cedarville.
(OUTDOOR) This Flyer had the fastest time of any UD runner in the 10,000m run at the Atlantic 10 Championship (39:19.8), in which she took seventh place...In the 3,000m at the Stans Lyon Invitational she placed eighth in a time of 11:06.1...In April, she placed seventh in the 5,000m at UNLV (19:39.8)
