(CROSS COUNTRY) Alex Miles crossed the line amongst the top seven Flyers in six of eight meets. She ran a personal best time of 19:06 at the Greater Louisville Classic, and also cut 32 seconds off her 6K personal best at the NCAA Pre-Nationals.
(INDOOR) In the 5,000 meter run, she placed fifth at the Kent State Invitational with a time of 9:11.58...Ran a time of 19:26.39 at the Findlay Classic, good for sixth place... She also competed in the 3,000 meter run at the Bowling Green State University Jane Herrmann Invitational, taking seventh place (10:50.71), and in the one mile run at the Indiana Open (5:34.13), finishing ninth overall.
(OUTDOOR) Competed in the 10,000 meter run at the All-Ohio Championships running 40:52.95.

2007-2008
(CROSS COUNTRY) Alex Miles came on strong for Dayton as the year wound down by finishing in the top five on the team in two of the last three meets. She ran in each of the last five meets, including her season-best showing at the Falcon Invitational where she finished in 54th overall in 19:28. Her time of 23:50 at the NCAA Regional was good for fifth on the team. She also posted a 53rd place finish at the All-Ohio Meet, and was the eighth Flyer across the line at the Greater Louisville Invitational.
(INDOOR) Finished 12th in the one mile run (6:01.09) at the ONU Friday Night Series.
(OUTDOOR) Ran 2:34.94 in the 800 meter at the Miami University Team Challenge...Posted a time of 11:30.27 in the 3000 meter and 19:45.21 in the 5000 meter at the CCU Invitational and the Southern Cup Invite, respectively...Recorded a career best in the 10000 meter run (40:53.14) at the All-Ohio Championship.

2006-2007
(CROSS COUNTRY) Competed in all seven meets for UD, led the Flyers in three races...Recorded her season-best time at the Atlantic 10 Championship race where she placed 32nd overall in a time of 19:21...Earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors after the All-Ohio Championship race where she, for the second week in a row, placed first for the women's squad and led UD to a strong 14th of 42 finish...She has placed sixth or better in every meet throughout the season...Ended the year with a strong race at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional where she came in third for UD clocking in at 24:01 at the six-kilometer race...Earned the Rookie of the Year Award for UD.
(INDOOR) Member of the distance medley relay team that placed ninth at the Atlantic 10 Championships with a time of 12:45.70...Ran a season best 9:44.36 in the A-10 Championships 4x800 relay.
(OUTDOOR) Competed in two events for UD...Ran the 1500 meter at the Hurricane Invite finishing in 5:00.57 and 5:03.20 at the Miami Invite...In the 5000 meter, recorded a season-best time of 19:24.48 at the All-Ohio's and 19:47.94 at the A-10 Championships.

State qualifier in cross country and track. Finished 11th in the state in cross country in 2004. Named to the All-Ohio team in 2003 and 2004. Team MVP all four years at St. Joseph's.
