PHILADELPHIA - Senior Erin Kirkland was honored as the Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Performer of the Week on Monday.

Kirkland shared the honor with Lauren Clary of Xavier after leading UD to a split of Cleveland State and Ball State over the weekend. Kirkland won both of her matches at first singles in straight sets. She also teamed up with Allysa Detroy at first singles to beat the Vikings Friday, 8-3. Kirkland also played alongside Courtney McDowell as the top Dayton doubles pair to best the Cardinals Saturday, 8-6.

Kirkland is third all-time in career wins (singles and doubles combined) in program history and has won the A-10 Performer of the Week award seven times in her career.

UD returns to action Feb. 11 & 12 as they head south to play at Eastern Kentucky and Morehead State.
