MONROEVILLE, Pennsylvania - The Flyers season came to an end Sunday morning after a 4-0 loss to Fordham in their third match of the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships. Dayton, the #10 seed finished the regular season with an overall dual match record of 9-10, and a win over Rhode Island in the tournament.

Sophomore Megan Gray and freshman Nikki Dzubay provided a win at #2 doubles, but the Rams took #1 and #3 doubles to earn their first point. Andrea Muresan and Carrie Trigilio each led in the second set of their matches before Fordham clinched with wins at #1, #2, and #3 singles.

The Flyers finished the Championships in tenth place, while two-time defending champion Richmond will play Charlotte this afternoon for the title.
