The tenth-seeded University of Dayton women's tennis team fell 4-1 Friday to seventh-seed Saint Louis in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championship. Junior Megan Gray earned Dayton's lone point with a 6-1, 6-3 win at #4 singles.

Dayton sophomore Nikki Dzubay was leading 7-5, 3-0 at #3 singles when play was suspended once Saint Louis clinched the victory.

The Flyers will play in the consolation round of the tournament Saturday at 3:30 p.m. EDT against an opponent to be determined in matches today and tomorrow morning.
