MONROEVILLE, Pennsylvania - The University of Dayton Flyers women's tennis rattled off back-to-back wins on Saturday at the Atlantic 10 Championship in Monroeville, PA to finish in a tie for ninth place with George Washington.

UD, which was seeded eleventh, defeated No. 14 La Salle Saturday morning, 4-0, and then topped No. 10 Fordham, 4-1.

Sophomore Kelly O'Connell was a singles winner in both of those matches, including a 6-0, 6-0 victory over La Salle at No. 5.

In doubles, Dayton's No. 2 and No. 3 squads scored in each match. Freshman Loni Dickerhoof and sophomore Chelsea Glankler went 2-0 at No. 2, while sophomore Laina Grote and junior Molly Mathews were undefeated on the day at No. 3.

The Flyers concluded their spring season with a 10-10 overall record and will lose only one senior, Nikki Dzubay, to graduation.
