MONROEVILLE, PA - The eleventh-seeded University of Dayton women's tennis team was downed in first round action by No. 6 Massachusetts, 5-0, on Friday at the Atlantic 10 Championships in Monroeville,PA.

Dayton will next face eighth-seeded La Salle on Saturday at 8 a.m. EST. The winner of that match will meet No. 10 Fordham Saturday afternoon for ninth place.
