DAYTON, Ohio - The women's tennis team fell 4-3 Wednesday afternoon while playing host to crosstown opponent Wright State. The teams split the six singles matches, which clinched the win for the Raiders after they captured the doubles point to begin scoring.

Sophomore Allysa Detroy anchored the Flyers at #1 singles with a 7-6(1), 6-4 victory over Tiffani Foster. Freshmen Andrea Muresan and Carrie Trigilio followed suit with straight set wins at #5 and #6 singles. Muresan recorded a 7-5, 6-2 win over Christa Ames while Trigilio also ran away with the second set in a 7-5, 6-1 victory against Karina Presti.

UD is now 6-9 this spring, and 8-9 overall in 2005-06. The Flyers are in action Friday at 2:00 PM when they host Detroit at NCR Courts.
