EVANSVILLE, Indiana - The women's tennis team was defeated by the Evansville Purple Aces 6-1 on Sunday at Carson Center Courts in Evansville, IN. Sophomore Nikki Dzubay picked up the win for Dayton at #4 singles. UD fell to 4-15 on the year.

Dzubay cruised to a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Allison Cox, earning her ninth win of the spring season and tallying Dayton's lone point. UD dropped the remaining five singles matches after losing the doubles point.

The Flyers host Youngstown State on Sunday, April 1 in their next event. The match will begin at 11:00 a.m. EST.
