The women's tennis team constructed its third sweep of the season on Friday night with a 7-0 victory over Atlantic 10 foe St. Bonaventure at Dayton Center Courts. UD swept the doubles point, and won all six singles matches including five in straight sets to improve to 4-7 this spring. The Bonnies dropped to 3-6.

Senior Allysa Detroy was solid at No. 1 singles. Her 6-2, 6-1 victory over Anna Perevenzetseva set the tone for the Flyers. Freshman Laina Grote improved her team best singles record to 7-5 this spring with a 7-6(1), 6-4 win at No. 2 over Yolande Callaghan.

Senior Megan Gray had little trouble with Ana Delgado at No. 3 in a 6-3, 6-3 win. At No. 4, freshman Chelsea Glankler survived the only scare of the evening and won in a tiebreaker, 6-2, 6-7(4), 10-8.

Rounding out the singles scoring for Dayton was junior Nikki Dzubay with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 5 over Vanessa Rumpel, and Molly Mathews with a 6-3, 6-4 defeat of Anna Martorell.

The Flyers won all three doubles matches uncontested. At No. 1, Detroy and Gray paired up to defeat Perevenzetseva and Callaghan, 8-4. Dzubay and freshman Kelly O'Connell dominated Delgado and Rumpel, 8-3, at No. 2. Grote and Mathews quickly eliminated Barousse and Martorell, 8-2, at No. 3.
