Seniors Allysa Detroy and Megan Gray were victorious at No. 1 doubles against Butler but it was not enough as the Bulldogs beat Dayton 7-0 on Sunday at Dayton Center Courts.

Detroy and Gray posted UD's lone win on the afternoon by defeating Natali Jaimes and Tiffany McLoughlin 8-4. It was the third win in the last four tries for the doubles tandem, but UD fell to 3-8 on the season with the loss.

Butler- last year's Horizon League runner-up- has now won five of its last six matches and is 5-7 overall.

Despite Dayton's win at No. 1 doubles, the Bulldogs stole the doubles point away from UD by taking No. 2 doubles 9-8(5) in a tiebreak.

The Flyers will host St. Bonaventure on Friday, March 7 at 7 p.m. ET at Dayton Center Courts.
