A pair of victories from two first-year UD players was not enough on Saturday as the Flyers were defeated by Southern Illinois, 5-2, in their first home match of the year at Five Seasons Sports Club. In addition to taking four singles courts, Southern Illinois also won two-of-three doubles matches. Dayton fell to 0-4 with the loss while the Salukis improved to 1-0.
