Results

The UD women's tennis team suffered a loss to Ball State in a 6 to 1 defeat on Saturday, January 29.

The only victories in singles and doubles came from seniors Erin Kirkland (Dayton, OH) and Courtney McDowell (Centerville, OH). In singles, number one seeded Kirkland defeated Jenny Batty 6-4, 6-3. For doubles, Kirkland teamed up with McDowell to win against Batty and Stephanie Farrar 8-6.

The final match result was Ball State 6, Dayton 1.

The women's tennis team next faces Eastern Kentucky in Richmond, KY on February 11 at 12:00 p.m.
