The women's tennis team ran into a tough Miami RedHawks squad on Sunday in Oxford, Ohio. The Flyers suffered a 7-0 loss to Miami to fall to 0-3 on the season. Miami is now 1-0 this spring.

The RedHawks came out strong in the match by only surrending a combined four games to the Flyers in the three doubles matches.

On the singles courts, UD put up a fight but was held off by the homestanding RedHawks. The Flyers failed to win a set in the singles contests. Freshman Chelsea Glankler came the closest by winning six games in a 2-6, 4-6 loss to Kelly Douple at No. 4.

Dayton will go for its first victory of the year on Saturday, Feb. 2 against Southern Illinois in the Flyers' first home match of the season. Match time scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at Five Seasons Sports Club in Bellbrook.
