Dayton softball will travel to Philadelphia to play Temple in a crucial Atlantic 10 doubleheader Friday at 3 p.m. UD will then play Fordham Sunday at noon in its final conference games of the season.

Dayton is curently in fourth place and will await the weekend to see if they play in the A-10 Tournament. The Flyers will take a 17-16-1 overall record and a 6-6 A-10 mark into the weekend.

UD can clinch a playoff spot with two wins this weekend and a combination of one loss by George Washington and two by Saint Joseph's.

Junior Melissa Myher threw two complete games against Saint Joseph's striking out 10, walking only one and allowing just one run to score. She has pitched a total of 18 complete games.

Classmate Tamsyn Kellough leads UD with 25 RBI this season and a .245 batting average. She also leads Dayton in doubles with two and is 3-for -3 in stolen bases.

Christine Eggers is batting .278 with a .352 slugging pct. She is currently on a four-game hitting streak and leads UD with 29 runs scored.
