DAYTON, OHIO - St. Bonaventure (14-16; 7-5 entering) took game one of an Atlantic 10 doubleheader Saturday, 11-6. Tamsyn Kellough was two-for-three with an RBI and two runs scored.

The Bonnies jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first, as St. Bona collected three-straight one-out singles. After a fielder's choice and a walk, Kirstin Strong delivered a double to make it 3-0 game.

In the third, St. Bonaventure added another run on a double and an RBI single from Lauren Krieger.

The Bonnies stretched the lead to 6-0 in the fourth, collecting three hits including an RBI single from catcher Anna Nagro, which chased UD starter Melissa Myher.

In the fifth, the Bonnies scored two more on a walk, a double and a wild pitch on the third strike.

Dayton collected five runs in the bottom of the fifth. After a leadoff walk, a single by Sheena Rothwell and a walk to Christine Eggers, Mollie Schrank beat out an infield hit to score a run. With one out, Tamsyn Kellough singled in the second run. Bona replaced starter Christine Keleher, who had been cruising through the first four innings.

Blair Crabtree followed with an RBI fielder's choice, and Lauren Schneider ripped a ball through the left side to plate another run, but the Flyers stranded two to still trail 8-5.

The Bonnies picked up another pair of runs in the sixth on two wild pitches. And tacked on another in the seventh on a RBI single from Patricia McKeon.

The Flyers loaded the bases in bottom of the seventh, scoring a run on a single by Schneider. Laura Matthews was hit by pitch for the second UD run. The Flyers cut it to 11-8 on two fielder's choices with the bases loaded. Two more runs came around when Eggers' squibber snuck through the infield.

Down 11-10 with two out, the Flyers loaded the bases on an infield error, but St. Bonaventure's third pitcher of the game, Brianna Bricker slammed the door for her second save.

Keleher picks up the win to improve to 10-8. Molly McCarthey allowed three runs in 2.0 innings of relief work for the Bonnies.
