Became the first freshman in UD history to throw a complete game shutout in first collegiate start, after striking out two and allowing just three hits in Dayton's 8-0 win over South Dakota State...made 29 appearances with 18 starts and two complete games...struck out 36 and finished with a 6.29 ERA and 4-11 record...fanned a season-high four batters in her start against George Washington...also notched a save after coming in relief in an 8-6 win against La Salle...in two different appearances in relief gave up no runs against Wright State and UMass...named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll for 2009 Spring semester.
Prior to UD
A standout pitcher at Salina South High School where she holds the single-game record for strikeouts with 21...was a three-time Kansas 5A all-State pitcher, earning the honor from 2006-2008...was a first team all-Arch Valley Chisholm Trail League pitcher four consecutive years and was named Salina South's MVP in 2007 and 2008...named to the adidas® Top 100 Softball Athletes in 2006... honored with 2008 U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete Award...also played for the Wichita Mustangs Gold, a nationally renowned club team that consistently sends teams to Nationals.
