Only freshman to play in all 47 games, which included 45 starts as catcher...closed out rookie season with a .198 batting average, four doubles and three home runs...was voted the Flyers' Most Improved Player after bettering her batting average of .164 in the first half the season to .227 in the second...nine of her 13 RBI, two of her four doubles and all three home runs came in the second half of the season...first two hits of her collegiate career were doubles; coming against North Dakota and Texas A&M Corpus Christi...smacked first career home run in a 2-for-3 outing against Saint Louis...also belted home runs against St. Bonaventure and Temple...helped keep the Flyers in playoff contention with a grand slam against the Owls that sparked a six-run seventh inning and a 13-8 come-from-behind victory.

Named an Illinois Super 60 Player, Kutsulis was a four year letter-winner at Lockport Township High School...two-time conference champion and two-time captain for the Porters...was an all-conference selection and Third Team all-area pick, in addition to being named to the all-conference Academic Team...member of the Homer Hawks 18U Gold softball club...named to Lockport Township honor roll all through high school...member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honors Society...also an Illinois State Scholar.
