Niki Reed's first half save bailed out the struggling Flyers in the first 25 minutes. Laura Boland and the Flyer midfield picked it up from that point on. Amanda Gallow got the Flyers on the board with the game's first goal.

UD dominated the second half, with Reba Sedlacek adding a second Flyer goal. Alicija Bredlo heads the ball away as SJU tried to tie the match up. Jacqueline Luehrs settles as the Dayton D held off the Hawks for the 2-1 win.
