Women's Soccer begins a three game homestand with the first game against EKU on Friday

DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's soccer team will continue the spring season with a match-up against Eastern Kentucky University at Baujan Field on Friday (March 30). The Flyers will face the Colonels at 8 p.m. ET on National Student-Athlete Day in the team's first home spring game of the season. Fans can join the cook-out celebration in honor of UD student-athletes before the game. The cookout will take place in the "P" parking lot outside of Baujan Field at 7:30 p.m. ET.

UD returns all 11 of its starters in the spring season. The Flyers began the season on February 25 in Bloomington, Indiana at the Indiana University Tournament. The team lost the first game, 0-1 to Indiana State and tied both Kentucky and Indiana (0-0).

The Flyers then went on to pick up three wins on March 24 at the Slippery Rock Invitational defeating Duquesne (2-1), Slippery Rock University (2-0), and Robert Morris (3-1).

Women's soccer has two more games scheduled for the season, both at home. The team is set to play Ball State on Friday, April 13 at 7 p.m. ET and Ohio University on Wednesday, April 18 with an 8 p.m. ET kick off.
