Reba Sedlacek, a 2005 Preseason All-Conference selection, continues a long line of high-scoring Flyers from Badin High School in Hamilton. She led the team in scoring again in 2005, after leading them in 2004 and tying for the lead in 2003. The 2004 Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year, Sedlacek stands 5-10 and is a target in the air with her height and athleticism. Also talented off the field, the senior captain has been named to the All-District Academic Team twice and the All-Conference Academic Teams three times.
Senior (2005)
Sedlacek started all 20 games for the Flyers this season...Named to All-Atlantic 10 First Team, and to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team...Named Offensive MVP of the 2005 Nike Dayton Flyers Invitational...Tallied 21 points on nine goals and three assists, leading the team in scoring...Also led the team in shots and shots on goal...Scored five game winning goals this season, versus Furman, Ohio, George Washington, St. Bonaventure and in the Atlantic 10 Quarterfinal against St. Joseph's...Was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for her game winning goal and assist against Furman...Had the season high in points in a game with three, scoring an assist and a goal in the same game twice, once against Furman and then against LaSalle...Ended her career at UD with 39 goals and 19 assists, which ranks her fourth all-time at UD with 97 points, and her 39 goals ties her for third all-time at UD.

Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team...Preseason A-10 All-Rookie Team...finished with six goals and four assists for 16 points...eighth-best performance all-time by a UD frosh...four goals came in A-10 play...her game-winner in the closing seconds versus Michigan State was one of the biggest goals of the 2002 season...earned A-10 Rookie of the Week honors as a result...first collegiate goal against Evansville was a game-winner and the Flyers' first goal of the 2002 season, as she struck in the 36th minute at Evansville.
