Now a senior captain, Leah Phelps has seen her career develop from only playing in 10 matches and no starts as a freshman to becoming one of the Atlantic 10's top returning defenders. The 5-3 Cincinnati product will team with fellow senior Jen Simonetti and junior captain Jacqueline Luehrs to comprise a tough and physical defensive line, which has proven to be one of the nation's best.

Junior (2003)
Atlantic 10 All-Championship Team...started all 22 matches as part of a defense that allowed opponents to just 22 goals...a key part of the Flyers' A-10 Championship run as Phelps helped the defense post back-to-back shutouts in the tournament...recorded her first career point by assisting on Jamie Yates' goal against Xavier that knotted the match at 1-1 (the Flyers went on to win 2-1).

Sophomore (2002)
After seeing limited action as a freshman, stepped up and started 20 matches on defense...her skill and speed on the outside was an integral part of the Atlantic 10's top defensive lines.

Freshman (2001)
Preseason Atlantic 10 All-Rookie selection...saw action defensively in 10 matches.

High School
Was a First Team All-Fort Ancient Valley Conference selection while at Turpin...also played club soccer for the Cincinnati Cardinals and was a member of the Olympic Development Program.
