A very skilled and technical playmaker, Katie Lowstuter returns to the Flyers for her senior season as one of the Atlantic 10's most outstanding players in the midfield. The senior continues to wow the Baujan Field crowd and opposing players alike with her spectacular footwork and ball-control skills. Senior (2005)
Lowstuter was named to the All-Atlantic 10 Second Team...She was also second on the team in scoring, with eight points coming on two goals and a team-best four assists...Her goals came against Temple and La Salle...She started all 20 games for the Flyers....She was also second on the team in shots with 50 and shots on goal with 23...Her gritty play in the midfield helped keep the ball out of UD's net, as seen in the team's ability to keep the opponents averaging less then a goal per game...Her 25 career assists ranks her fourth all-time at UD in assists.
Junior (2004)
First Team All-Atlantic 10...the midfielder was one of five Flyers to start every game...UD's second-leading scorer with career-highs in every offensive category...she posted an Atlantic 10-best 11 assists, which was tied for for the second-best single-season mark in school history...ranked 27th in the NCAA in assists per game (.50)...her four goals, one game-winning goal and 51 shots were also career-bests...put UD on the board first in the season-opener against No. 12 Florida...had a career-day in a 3-0 win over George Washington as she collected a goal, an assist and took a career-high seven shots...struck for her first collegiate game-winning goal in overtime as the Flyers edged Saint Joseph's 1-0...assisted on two goals in UD's 3-0 win over Duquesne...recorded an assist in five of UD's first seven matches of the season.
Sophomore (2003)
Earned 15 starts in 22 matches...dished out four assists...posted the game-winning assists in key back-to-back, 1-0 conference wins over Massachusetts and George Washington...also tallied assists in a 3-1 win over La Salle and in the 3-0 shutout of Richmond in the A-10 title match.
Freshman (2002)
Finished with eight points on a goal and six assists...six assists was fourth-most on the team...collected a career-best three points with a goal and assist in a 3-1 win over Georgetown...helped setup the game-winner in UD's 1-0 victory over rival Xavier...also had an assist in the Flyers' NCAA First Round match versus Virginia.
