April Carbajal comes into 2005 with lofty expectations. Regarded as one of the team's most lethal strikers, Carbajal missed all last season due to injury. She came in as a freshman last year as one of two incoming Flyers to earn NSCAA All-America honors in high school. She is a very versatile player, with tremendous ability with the ball at her feet, to either keep possession or create scoring chances. She will have four years of eligibility remaining after receiving a medical redshirt as a freshman.

(RS) Freshman (2005)
Carbajal started 10 games for the Flyers during the 2005 campaign...she scored eight points on the season, coming on two goals and four assists...scored the game-winning goal against Wright State, and tallied her other goal against then-fifth-ranked Virginia in the Virginia Nike Soccer Classic...was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for her performance at the Virginia Nike Soccer Classic, where she scored one goal and assisted on another.

Freshman (2004)
Was sidelined the entire season and red-shirted after sustaining an injury prior to the Flyers' preseason camp in the fall.
