Alicija Bredlo, the first Flyer to come from outside the United States, was described by many as the best player coming out of Ontario as a prepster. A member of the Canadian National Pool, Bredlo possesses good size, and gave the Flyers valuable time in the defensive-third of the field.

Senior (2005)
Bredlo was named to the All Atlantic 10 First team for her stellar play on the Flyers' back line this season...She played in and started 19 games this season...Tallied 5 points this season, coming on one goal and three assists...Scored the tying goal against Furman on September 2...Assisted on the game tying goal against then-number six Virginia...Helped lead a Flyer defense that allowed less then one goal per game this season.

Junior (2004)
A breakout year in 2004 saw Bredlo score a career-best five goals...four of her goals went for game-winners as she posted the deciding goals in victories over Oakland, St. Bonaventure, Rhode Island and Richmond...she was named both the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week and to the Soccer America National Team of the Week on Oct. 25, after leading the Flyers to wins over Richmond and George Washington...She scored the game-winner in the 2-1 triumph over the Spiders and helped the defense to one of its team-record 13 shutouts in the 3-0 win over the Colonials.

Sophomore (2003)
Saw action in eight matches...scored her first career goal in UD's home opener -- a 3-0 win over Marshall...took four shots.

Freshman (2002)
Came off the bench to appear in nine matches...took four shots.

Was an extremely talented athlete and leader in the prep ranks...named captain and Most Valuable Player of all three teams she played for in high school: soccer, basketball and volleyball.
