The Flyers won the Lightweight 4 and Lightweight 8 races

The University of Dayton rowing team finished second overall in the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, the highest-ever finish for the Flyers in the ten-year history of the event. Dayton's previous previous best finish was tying for third in 2000.

Massachusetts, the conference's only champion since the tournament began in 1996, bested the Flyers 45-39 in total points for the school's closest margin of victory in an A-10 championship. George Washington followed at 36 points and Rhode Island at 24.

Highlighting the Flyers' record performance were victories in the Lightweight 4 (8:48.4) and Lightweight 8 (7:30.6) races. UD's Novice 8-B shell finished second (7:58.3) and the first Novice 8 placed third (7:59.7).

Posting fourth-place finishes were the Second Varsity 8 (7:35.5) and Novice 4 (9:24.4) shells. The Varsity 4 won fifth place (9:01.6) in its competition, and the Varsity 8 (7:12.6) and Quad (11:15.0) each came in 6th place.

No meet records were eclipsed.
