In the 2006-2007 season Weis placed first in the Atlantic 10 in Lightweight 8 and was on the A-10 honor roll.

Major is dietetics. Hometown is Columbus, Ohio. Rowed for Dublin Crew for three years in high school. Also ran track and cross country for two years in high school.
