With a commitment to developing the overall student-athlete, Ashley Quinn serves on Derek Copeland's coaching staff as an assistant coach for the Dayton Flyers women's rowing program.

In her first season with the Flyers, Quinn helped UD to two spring wins with the Varsity 8 and helped set the stage for a fourth place finish at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Women's Rowing Championship. After placing in fifth a season ago, UD's Lightweight 8 finished in second and the Varsity 8 and Second Varsity 8 each tallied a fourth place finish.

In the final race of the season, Dayton's Varsity 8 and Second Varsity 8 each reached the semifinals at the 2008 Dad Vail Regatta.

Quinn previously served an Assistant Coach for Greater Dayton Rowing Association. At UD Quinn assists Copeland with various aspects of the program that includes recruiting, fundraising and student-athlete development.

Quinn began her rowing career with Greater Dayton Rowing Association in 2000 and went on to row for the Indiana University Varsity Women's Rowing team for four years.

The Englewood, Ohio native was a four-year letterwinner in track, as well as a letter in volleyball and rowing. She received her Bachelor's degree in Art History in 2005 and recently completed her Master's degree in Contemporary Art History from Sotheby's Institute of Art in London, England.
