Baeder rowed in the second Novice 8+ which placed 1st at 2009 Atlantic 10 Championship. She also rowed in the Lightweight 8+ at the 2009 Dad Vail Regatta.

Baeder was involved in crew, cross-country and swimming in high school. She participated in the 2008 Youth Rowing National Championships in the Lightweight 8.
