Baeder rowed in the Novice 8+ helping place in second at 2009 Atlantic 10 Championship and in the semi-finals at the 2009 Dad Vail Regatta.

Baeder went to the Youth Nationals for rowing participating in the Lightweight 8. Other than crew, she was involved with cross-country and swimming in high school.
