In the 2007-2008 season, Athmer coxed the Varsity 8 to a number of dual victories as well as a 4th place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championship. She was named to the First Team All-Conference for the Atlantic 10 and was on the A10 Honor Roll.

2006-2007
Athmer coxed the Varsity 8 at Head of the Charles and attended rowing and development camp at Thompson Boat Center.

2005-2006
Won the bronze medal at Dad Vail Regatta.
